Main goal of the project is (i) to develop an independent Dynamic Asset Information System for Wind Turbines, based on the technologies developed within the frame of the WCWM project, (ii) to analyse, validate and optimize the system on a real wind park, and (iii) to quantify the benefits for owners of offshore wind parks. ECN’s scope of work in the project is the development of decision support modules that support O&M decision making on a daily basis, as well as on the longer term (lifecycle).
At the end of the project, the DAISY4offshore system should be developed and validated for offshore wind parks, including the quantification of the benefits for wind park owners over the lifecycle. The technology will be used by the asset owners of the wind farms to maintain their wind farms and take key decisions.
